Internships & Work-Based Learning

Learn the Craft. Build Your Reel. Tell Stories That Matter.

HisSpace offers hands-on, work-based learning for video and audio production students and recent graduates who want real experience behind the camera and in the edit bay. Interns work alongside a working production company on projects for nonprofits, ministries, community organizations, and local businesses.

Supervised, real-project experience · Portfolio and reference opportunities

This Opportunity Is Built For:

  • Video or audio production students
  • Recent graduates building a professional reel
  • Film, media, and communications majors
  • Students needing work-based learning hours
  • Career changers with production training
  • Reliable learners who want real-world reps

Real Projects. Real Learning.

Work-based learning that goes beyond the classroom.

Classroom training gives you the foundation. Work-based learning shows you how production actually happens: preparing a shoot, setting up interviews, capturing clean audio, organizing footage, and delivering a finished video a client will use.

At HisSpace, interns take part in supervised production work on real client projects. When possible, we can coordinate with your school’s internship, practicum, or work-based learning requirements, including tracking hours and providing feedback on your progress.

What You Can Learn:

  • Camera setup, framing, and shot composition
  • Audio capture, mic placement, and studio recording
  • Lighting and interview setup on location
  • Footage organization and editing workflow
  • Story development and production planning
  • Professional client communication on set

Learning opportunities depend on current projects, your experience level, and your availability.
